February 2017 Pit Bull spay/neuter special–see link here. pit-bull-flyer-1-17
Project B.A.R.K. is working with other animal welfare groups to make spaying and neutering of pets the norm in the Triad area. To date, we have provided financial assistance for the spaying or neutering of 5500 animals (with more scheduled weekly) who would not otherwise have been fixed. Our partners include Loving Pet Inn Adoptions, ARFP (Animal Rescue and Foster Program), SPCA of The Triad and the Humane Society (Planned Pethood).
Sadly, close to 4 million unwanted pets are euthanized in the United States each year. We and our partners are doing all we can to reduce North Carolina’s contribution to this tragic statistic. The spay/neuter program is a top priority for Project Bark.
Call the Project B.A.R.K. spay/neuter hotline at 336-965-1059 for information on their 10/15 Fix program (Please note: this program is for GUILFORD COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY.)
Project B.A.R.K. promotes spaying and neutering through community-based political action as well as on the ground. We provide financial assistance to families who want to be responsible pet owners but are unable to afford the cost of spaying/neutering. Please consider donating to help Project B.A.R.K. reduce the population of unwanted and abandoned animals in the Triad area.
